    Investigating Court No. 1 of Ribeira filed the complaint that Baltasar Rodriguez Rianxo larger Major, presented against Natalia Laiño, AGAMAR’s president, in 2009. A complaint which purported to show an alleged crime of slander and libelbecause of statements made about media in which he accused the larger patternof violating the rights of ordinary shellfish by subjecting the system to mount higher.A system involving a diversion of sales of seafood shellfish extracted by workingface others did not, falsified invoices while causing an abuse continued and significant economic damage to the professionals.

    The Galician Association of Shellfish Workers (AGAMAR) initiated collaboration with Dr. Andrea Sáenz-Arroyo, scientific director of the Community and Biodiversity A.C. (COBI) in Mexico. The Mexican scientist contacted with AGAMAR’s president, Natalia Laiño, to know, directly, the reality of the Galician coastline with special interest by how are the links between the human and natural ecosystems in ours coast.     The General Secretary of the World Forum of Peoples Fishermen (WFFP) pleads for a national and international union of the workers of the sea to be able to fight for his way of life. The visit of the new General Secretary of the WFFP began with the walk along the beach of the Arenales for know closely to the extractive system of this zone. Accompanied by Natalia Laíño, treasurer of the World Forum and Chairwoman of AGAMAR, the Pakistani one it showed special interest for the procedures of extraction of the mollusks and the whole legal regulation in the development of this activity.     The chairwoman of Agamar, Natalia Laíño, and the Secretary Xeral, Manolo Maneiro, were at the end of last month in the Fifth General Assembly of the Fishermen’s World Forum (WFFP) celebrated in Karachi (Pakistan). During his stay in the Pakistani city, financial, commercial and port center of the country, it was debated on the problematic current ones that concern the coastal communities and on a small scale.
