    On Friday afternoon, the 23th, many neighbors of A Pobra do Caramiñal support the fishermen association who claimed, after more than twelve years of management and dialogue, the recovery area for Rafter exploited by workersPobra. One problem that has persisted since the 80′s and the Administation ”does not resolve, delaying departure time calqueira” as Manolo said Maneiro, general secretary of AGAMAR and larger pattern of Pobra do Caramiñal.

The Mexican scientist contacted with AGAMAR’s president, Natalia Laiño, to know, directly, the reality of the Galician coastline with special interest by how are the links between the human and natural ecosystems in ours coast.     The General Secretary of the World Forum of Peoples Fishermen (WFFP) pleads for a national and international union of the workers of the sea to be able to fight for his way of life. The visit of the new General Secretary of the WFFP began with the walk along the beach of the Arenales for know closely to the extractive system of this zone. Accompanied by Natalia Laíño, treasurer of the World Forum and Chairwoman of AGAMAR, the Pakistani one it showed special interest for the procedures of extraction of the mollusks and the whole legal regulation in the development of this activity.     They say that the same reality is different for two persons. This spends to me with the Councilwoman do Sea who day after day boasts of guarding for the interests of the sector shellfish and fishing´s workers. Nevertheless, the reality is capricious and different well; it seems that we are not speaking about the same thing; though in this case who is mistaken, the thousands of workers of the sector of the sea or the Councilwoman? Sometimes it happens that in order that one realizes a royal problem it does not have put any more than the shoes of other one. (more…)
