Galician Shellfish workers Association (AGAMAR), together with other organizations around the world, participating from 2 to 6 March at a meeting in Rome with FAO in order to discuss the future of fishing. Which seeks to analyze the achievements in implementing the Code of Conduct for Responsible FisheriesFAO. Among the issues highlighted the fight against illegal fishing, management ofpeixerías at sea or how to combine fishing with peeler social responsibility so as to ensure in time sostenibilidade of small-scale fisheries.
Fishermen Association Cambados
AGAMAR is satisfied with the judgment of the Superior Court of Justice of Galiciaby annulling the elections of 2004 in the Fishermen’s Association of St. Anthony ofCambados, whose legality was defended, pampered by the previous Minister ofFisheries and Maritimes. The Administrative Chamber of the Superior Court of Justice of Galicia dictou judgment by which proceeds to the annulment of elections held in 2004 in the Fishermen’s Association of Cambados, fruit of which was elected as Major Don Benito Gonzalez Patron Sineiro promoted by the granarynumerous partners who are members of the Association AGAMAR.
