    The High Court of Justice of Galicia has dismissed an appeal by the Regional Government the decision of the Court of Administrative # 3 of Pontevedra, in May 2011 annulled the elections in 2009, confirming the irregularities in the electoral process.     Galician Association of Shellfish Workers demanded, as a prelude to future judicial and administrative actions, the Departament of Rural Environment and Sea make a final decision on the facts alleged in court AGAMAR in October last year against the Galician Federation of Fraternities and its president Benito Gonzalez Sineiro. In the complaint inadmissible, it is revealed the misappropriation of public funds and monetary rewards unevenly, but until now there is evidence of a full refund and without any action or any pronouncement of the Regional Minister Rosa Quintana.

    AGAMAR informed the Council of accounts of Galicia and of the Prosecution of the Superior Court of Justice in Galicia several information referents to the undue perception of retributions of cash by the president of the Galician Federation fishermen’s Associations, Benito González Sineiro. In total it is estimated that the amount of public funds used improperly can add up to more than 78,000 €, for the past three years. (more…)

    Agamar is pleased with the decision of the Supreme Court, by which one is not supported for processing the appeal filed by the granary cambadés against the judgment annulling the election TSXG held in this brotherhood of fishermen in 2004. We must remember that in the elections held in 2004 in the Fishermen’s Association was elected as Cambados larger pattern Sineiro Benito Gonzalez, current President of the Galician Federation of Fishermen Associations and current member of the National Federation of Fishermen in Madrid.
