    Reducing fishing quotas in the European Union or even impose extensive closures most overfished species such as cod, herring and flounder, paradoxical effect would catch up and would create over 100,000 jobs in the sector. Not be achieved immediately, but fast enough for the authorities to raise it as a priority.

    Consellería do Mar saw forced, recently, to recognize that from the year 2009 applied improperly the community rule in regard to the minimum carving of the Japanese claim. The Galician government imposed a minimum size of 0,40 mm upper, a measure that is noticeably upper to the of 0,35 mm established in the Regulations (CE) nº 43/2009, of 10.01.2009 and nº 1288/2009, of 27.10.2009 of the Council and Regulation (UE) nº 579/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 8.06.2011 that established transitory technical measures from it 1 of January of 2011 enlarged tie the 31 of December of 2012.
