If we were to indicate some of the key players in the history of Galicia in the last 85 years, no doubt, could indicate how one of them Mar. Galicia and the Galicianmaritime basically we are a people that has always been developed looking at its coast, in a symbiosis of which have come many of our main features andcharacteristics. As a result of this profound and direct the employees of the marine environment are endowed with insight, settled for several generations, hardly found in other parts of the world. Our estuaries serve as the foundation of social and economic relations not only influence the seafaring towns and villages, creating anenvironmental and human ecosystem unique. A space that is the scene of many economic activities centered on trade, tourism, shipbuilding, in addition to fishing and shellfishing. Sectors around which develops and multiply efforts to provide jobsand create wealth at a very high percentage of our population. (more…)
